Kalyon Kültür is presenting a group exhibition “Touched by Mankind” at Nişantaşı Taş Konakbetween September 15 and December 17, 2022. With this exhibition, Kalyon Kültür takes the second step into a series of exhibitions focusing on the relationship between nature and art, one of the most important themes of digital art.
The exhibition is a sequel to the previous exhibition titled Flora, which, curated by Ceren and Irmak Arkman, attracted great attention, bringing together some of the most prominent names in the field of digital art. In the second exhibition of the series, the curators this time focus on the human impact on the environment, drawing attention to one of the most important problems of today, the climate crisis.
The exhibition “Touched by Mankind”, which will take place in line with and parallel to the framework of the 17th Istanbul Biennial, is preparing to introduce to its audience the works of Evan Roth, Félix Luque & Iñigo Bilbao, François Quévillon, Kevin Cooley, Persijn Broersen & Margit Lukács, Sabrina Ratté and Volkan Kızıltunç. As part of its new exhibition program, Kalyon Kültür will bring together nine international artists, while at the same time supporting the exhibition with talks and workshops on nature, recycling and sustainability that will take place in parallel.
The exhibition “Touched by Mankind” can be viewed free of charge at Kalyon Kültür’s Taş Konak building located in Nişantaşı until December 17, 2022.
