The third exhibition in the "Botter Exhibitions" series, titled "Solo Botter: Komet," curated by Levent Çalıkoğlu, has opened at Casa Botter, Istanbul's first Art Nouveau building! The exhibition's opening took place on the evening of Tuesday, September 17, with the participation of figures from the worlds of art, politics, business, and media, including Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Mahir Polat, Head of the IBB Cultural Heritage Department Oktay Özel, Head of the IBB Culture Department T. Volkan Aslan, Bedri Baykam, İnci Aksoy, Canan Tolon, Levent Erden, and Osmantan Erkır. "Solo Botter: Komet" presents a special selection that spans from the extraordinary artist's early works from the 1960s to his conceptual minimalist paintings with white backgrounds, which he called "alto modern." The exhibition, dedicated to the artist we lost in 2022, will be open to visitors free of charge at Casa Botter from September 18, 2024, to January 12, 2025.
