Curated by Neriman Polat, the exhibition "Piece by Piece" brings together the works of Defne Parman, Doğa Çal, and Hilal Balcı, opening on Tuesday, May 7th, at Merdiven Art Space. The selection for the exhibition is created through the communication between the three women artists and their feminist practices.
The exhibition, featuring video and installation works, focuses on different experiences of womanhood. Unnoticed wounds, repetitions in fragments and actions, relationships, and obsessions are among the themes explored in the works on display.
