2 days, 5 routes, 3 exhibitions, 3 concerts, 7 European Embassies, 28 venues: “You will fall in love with Ankara!” Within the framework of the 40th European Heritage Days and the centenary celebrations of the Republic of Turkey and its capital Ankara, EUNIC, the European Network of National Cultural Institutes, is organizing the second of the European Heritage Days in Ankara on 16 and 17 September 2023.

“You will fall in love with Ankara!” The event, organized with the slogan, celebrates the rich history, architecture and artistic heritage of the capital with a series of new and free events, starting with the opening of the doors of seven European embassies to Ankara residents with guided tours.
For two days, 28 institutions, including embassies, museums, foundations and associations, open their doors to you in an extraordinary and original way to (re)discover the history of Ankara by organizing guided tours, exhibitions, concerts and city tours.

The event was organized by EUNIC and coordinated by Institut français Turkey – Ankara, in partnership with Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, with the participation of the embassies of Germany, Belgium, France, Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland and the European Union delegation; Anatolian Civilizations, Erimtan, Cin Ali, Türkiye İş Bankası Economic Independence Museum; Maturation Institute; Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Cultural and Natural Heritage Directorate, Çankaya Municipality; Church of Saint Thérèse; İnönü Foundation, Sevda Cenap Ant Foundation, Koç University Ankara Studies Application and Research Center (VEKAM); Ankara Chamber of Architects; Dou Print Studio ; It is carried out in cooperation with Ankara Aks, Lavarla, Urban Sketchers Ankara and Anatolian Music Cultures Association.
