İMALAT-HANE is hosting the works of İnci Eviner in its second exhibition of the season. The exhibition titled “Beyond the House”, which will meet with the audience between January 7 and April 8, 2023, will bring together the works of the artist from different periods.

Inci Eviner, who maps shadows in her works, focuses on the multi-layered and vast nature of the material she deals with, rather than representing the three-dimensional universe of the modern mind. Eviner's maps often fold back on themselves, new routes emerge from the folds, they are winding. While maps as we know them try to isolate the complexity of the world and reduce it to two dimensions, Eviner returns the plurality of life to his maps. Artist's maps are meant to get lost in them.

Such living maps are always inhabited by bodies in motion rather than by cold bookmarks. These bodies are not elements of an organism constructed from above for a divine purpose, but rather parts that move according to their own will to exist. İnci Eviner's maps are for those who are always on the go. Travelers, nomads, those who follow their desires…
